To translate the interface of Documeron, you should: 1. Open the Documeron program folder (by default, it is C:\Program Files\Documeron) 2. Copy the file "english.lng" to the file "language you want to translate into.lng" (for example, english.lng -> german.lng) 3. Open this file in a text editor that is used to edit plain text without formatting (for example, Notepad) 4. Replace English text after each identifier with your text (for example, ID_1=Snake -> ID_1=Serpent) 5. Save the final text file and send it to us Comments You can use the [Translator] section to specify your full name (instead of Mutex Developments), contact information and translation date. This information will be displayed in the "Options->Language" dialog box. During the translation, you will come across the "&" characters, they are used for internal purposes. You may ignore these characters, we will insert them ourselves. Also, you will come across the "%s" and "%d" characters. The program replaces these characters with their values, for example, the program replaces the "%s" character in the string "Error playing sound, the sound file %s is corrupted" with the actual name of the sound file. Some languages are "longer" than the English language, for example, the Finnish string Muistiinpanot is longer than English Dizziness. We tried to take it into account, but if a string does not fit into its place in a dialog box, you can shorten some word or sentence trying to keep the initial meaning. To make editing the language file more comfortable, we recommend that you use the IniTranslator program that can be downloaded from http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/initranslator (thanks to Michel Beauchage for the link). We are grateful in advance for your translation! See Also:
